The Delicate Flower of Burlesque

HAZEL HONEYSUCKLE is a burlesque starlet and singer who has graced stages all over the U.S. and Europe. Originally from NYC, she is currently based in Las Vegas performing two shows nightly Tuesdays through Saturdays in Spiegelworld’s long-running hit show “Absinthe” at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas.

She has been a core member of Wasabassco, The BURLESQUE Show at the Borgata in Atlantic City, and a regular feature at the legendary Slipper Room in NYC. She has toured in the U.S. with Twirly Whirly Burly-Q and Mason Dixie Burlesque, and made four solo tours in Europe. Catch her cameos as Echo on the Netflix series “House of Cards” and the second season of “Orange is the New Black.” In 2016 she performed at the Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekend. She was also named 1st runner-up at the New Orleans Burlesque Festival in 2015 & 2016, and was crowned “Princess of Southern Exposure” at the Great Southern Exposure Pageant. This “Delicate Flower” is one you don’t want to miss! An avid crafter, she creates and sews her costumes herself, finding the development of a costume to be half the fun! She also makes custom costume items and pasties for other performers, and teaches costume and pastie workshops while traveling.

Hazel is a major subject of the feature-length documentary “Getting Naked”, now available on Amazon Prime, iTunes and Starz. Hazel spent Spring of 2017 in Los Angeles performing as “Misty West 88th Street” in Spiegelworld’s “Absinthe LA”. In 2017 she also headlined burlesque festivals in Oklahoma City and Cleveland, and she was awarded a Golden Pastie for “Most Lovable Performer” at the NY Burlesque Festival. She has been named in the worldwide Top 50 Burlesque Performers in each of the past four years by 21st Century Burlesque.
